Who am I?
I have always been an avid STAR WARS fan and feel in love with all the movies. I was 13 years old when I first saw STAR WARS "A New Hope". This movie started my journey to the dark side. I've probably seen all the original trilogy movies over 300 times each. I think it's about time that I need to replace my HD DVD collection because as impossible as it may seem, I think I've worn them out. There was always something mysterious and ominous about Darth Vader. While most kids were rooting for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, I was openly rooting for Darth Vader and the Empire. At age 16 I started putting together a Darth Vader costume. It was nothing special. It was mostly made of household items or store bought things I used to put together a Darth Vader costume. It was difficult to get much information before the Internet so you had to utilize the movies, pausing at specific key spots to get details of the Darth Lord of the Sith. I've gone through hundred of variation of the suit and I am still researching the costume after nearly 30 years. There are so many unique and subtle difference between all the Darth Vaders costumes starting with "A NEW HOPE" right up to "Revenge of the Sith". My favorites have always been "The Empire Strikes Back" and "The Return of the Jedi" version of the costume. I can only hope that everyone that enjoys my costume and has fun with it. Choosing to be a Darth Vader Impersonator brings me back to my childhood when I use to pretend being the Dark Lord with a simple black sheet cape and broom stick handle light saber. The only limits we place are on ourselves. The imagination can spark wonderous memories and makes it possible to experience a whole world inside our mind.
